AD61

AIR DRYER

Air Dryers are designed to remove moisture and other impurities from compressed air, ensuring specific purity and dryness requirements are met and maintained. Where dry and clean air is crucial to prevent potential contamination, corrosion, or interference with sensitive instruments and experiments, an Air Dryer can be an essential accessory. For example, the AD61 is commonly used to allow cryogenic equipment to operate without the creation of ice. As such, air dryers can be found in scientific laboratories, research facilities, medical labs, and other industrial settings all over the world.

FEATURES

The AD61 Air Dryer uses a molecular sieve to absorb moisture from the air. Originally designed for use with our world class cryocooler, the Cryostream, the AD61 is a stand alone air dryer with a dewpoint better than -60°C and a variable flow rate up to 25l/m, controlled by a simple built-in needle valve.

The air is compressed to 3.5 bar and passed via the particle filter to a factory sealed, twin-column pressure-swing adsorbtion dryer. The compressor is oil free to avoid contamination of the molecular sieve.

  • Produces clean, compressed, dry air for gas generators and scientific instruments
  • Capable of performing 24/7
