Xcell pressure amplifier (hand pump)

As the pressure in the cylinder of xenon drops, the working pressure of the Xcell will be affected. Xenon is an expensive rare gas so it is important to use the entire contents of the cylinder.

With this in mind, we have developed an optional handpump. This is an independent pressurising device that fits in the gas line between the cylinder and the Xcell and allows the Xcell to be pressurised without relying on the pressure from the cylinder.
