Communication protocol

In common with other Oxford Cryosystems devices control of the DTC may be integrated with third-party or custom instrument systems. In the case of the DTC this is achieved by running Cryopad DTC in "Server Mode". In this mode no user interface is displayed. Instead Cryopad DTC monitors a nominated folder for short command files placed there by other software, and also maintains a file indicating the current status of the device.
